Long-distance routes

The long-distance routes cross various regions and even countries. They are designed for the recreational cyclist who wants to go on a cycling holiday, a weekend away or a day trip.

The Flemish long-distance network comprises 10 routes, which together represent more than 1 500 km of cycling pleasure. You mainly cycle along quiet and safe back roads and those with a separate bike lane. The long-distance routes are signposted with yellow-blue signs similar to the white-red walking route signs.
